The city that ate it’s parents (ongoing)

In December of 1989 the Romanian revolution began in the city of Timisoara which quickly led to the capture and televised executions of Nicolae and Elena Ceausescu on Christmas Day. This short period of time and its events are regarded by many, as one of the greatest catalysts for the collapse of the Soviet Union, with the Soviet flag being lowered from the Kremlin for the last time exactly two years after the deaths of the Ceausescus.

The City that Ate its Parents has been shot over the artists many visits to Romania and the city of Timisoara, and is a record of the spectre of communism which still lingers in corners of this (and many other) Eastern European cities.
